Data work, done for pastors.
Consultation, done with them.

Disciplytics builds congregational learning systems — rigorous data engagements paired with pastoral consultation that translates findings into faithful ministry practice. We do the data work. We consult on how to use it.

Two disciplines, one engagement

The data is only half the work.

Most survey tools stop at a dashboard. Disciplytics keeps going. Every engagement combines a rigorous data study with pastoral consultation, so the findings actually inform how you shepherd.

Data work

We build the system.

Instrument design, distribution, response cleaning, statistical analysis, and reporting — all engineered to fit the shape of your congregation, not a generic template.

Consultation

We interpret the data with you.

Numbers on a page are not insight. We sit with you and your leadership to translate patterns into pastoral questions, prayerful reflection, and concrete next steps.

What we offer

Engagements built around the questions a pastor is actually asking.

Every engagement pairs data with counsel. Choose a starting point — we shape the scope to fit your church.

01 · Flagship engagement

Congregational Learning Assessment

A full study of your church across the five Scripture-grounded conditions — Relationships, Discipleship, Ministry Engagement, Organizational Health, and Mission. Anonymous survey of every congregant, statistical analysis against congregational baselines, and a written report with pastoral commentary.

  • Custom-tuned instrument built from the Disciplytics framework
  • Distribution support, response monitoring, and data cleaning
  • Segmented analysis (tenure, life stage, ministry area, etc.)
  • Written report with strengths, opportunities, and pastoral prompts
02 · Consulting

Interpretation & Strategy Sessions

Working meetings with you and your leadership team to interpret findings, ask better questions of the data, and shape next steps. This is where the report becomes ministry practice.

  • Leadership readout: presenting findings in plain, pastoral language
  • Facilitated discussion around blind spots and affirmations
  • Targeted planning for one or two conditions the data points toward
  • Optional elder / staff / small-group briefings
03 · Ongoing partnership

Longitudinal Learning

Assessment on a consistent rhythm — annually or semi-annually — with year-over-year comparison so you can see how the field is changing under your care. Stewardship becomes measurable across seasons.

  • Repeat assessments with methodology held constant
  • Trendlines across the five conditions and key sub-measures
  • Debrief and re-planning session after each cycle
  • Between-cycle office hours for interpretive questions
04 · Focused questions

Custom Studies

Sometimes a specific question needs its own instrument — a launch initiative, a transition, a ministry area that needs a closer look. We design and analyze targeted studies alongside your Congregational Learning Assessment or on their own.

  • Question design workshop with pastoral leadership
  • Custom instrument and analysis plan
  • Findings memo with recommendations
05 · Project-based

Ad Hoc Data Work

Sometimes the question isn't a full assessment — it's a forecast, a community study, or a one-off analysis. I take on standalone data projects for churches that need a specific answer without committing to a longer engagement.

  • Attendance, giving, or ministry participation forecasting
  • Community & neighborhood reporting using census and public data
  • Custom dashboards or data pulls from your ChMS
  • One-off analyses tied to a specific decision or season

How pastors engage the process

You stay the pastor. We carry the data.

Our engagement is designed so you spend your time on the pastoral work only you can do — listening, interpreting, leading — while we do the technical work of measurement and analysis alongside you.

01

Discovery conversation

We meet with you — pastor first, then key leaders — to understand your church, the season it's in, and the questions you want the data to help you answer. No cost, no pitch deck.

02

Design & launch

We tune the assessment instrument to your context, coordinate distribution with your staff, and launch the survey to every member of the congregation with clear, pastoral framing.

03

Analysis

We clean, analyze, and interpret the responses — looking not just at averages but at segments, patterns, and the places where the data disagrees with itself. You are not left to interpret raw dashboards.

04

Pastoral consultation

You sit down with us for a working session — often more than one — to read the report together, name what you see, and shape a small number of concrete responses. This is the heart of the engagement.

05

Return and repeat

Six or twelve months later, we run the assessment again and compare. Congregational learning is a practice, not a project — it becomes most useful when it's repeated.

This engagement is for

  • Pastors who want to know their congregation better than pastoral visits alone allow
  • Churches in a season of transition, growth, or intentional re-planning
  • Leadership teams ready to make ministry decisions from data plus discernment
  • Congregations willing to be honest in an anonymous, well-framed instrument

It's probably not for

  • Leaders looking for a scorecard to validate a decision already made
  • Churches wanting a quick dashboard with no pastoral conversation attached
  • One-off audits with no room for follow-up learning

Start with a conversation

Every engagement begins with a discovery call.
No cost. No obligation.
