Disciplytics exists because pastors deserve better than either intuition alone or generic dashboards. It is the work of someone who has spent nearly a decade teaching organizations how to hear what their data is saying — and the last five of those years listening for what it says about the local church.
Background
Trained in analytics. Formed by the church.
Disciplytics grew out of two long-running convictions: that data, done well, is a form of listening — and that the local church is where most of the questions worth answering actually live.
8 years
as a working data scientist turning data into insight for decision-makers.
5 years
helping churches use data better to understand and serve their people.
BA · Economics
the discipline of how people, systems, and incentives actually behave.
MS · Analytics
the rigor of statistical method applied to real-world questions.
For eight years I've built data systems and led analyses for organizations trying to understand people they can't possibly sit across from individually. For the last five, I've turned that same work toward churches — helping pastors and leadership teams read their congregations with the same care, and considerably more discernment, than any dashboard alone can offer.
Disciplytics is what that work has become: a firm devoted to congregational learning, not corporate metrics.
The approach
How I consult on using the data.
Any analyst can produce a report. The Disciplytics engagement is designed for the harder part: reading it well, in the specific context of your church, with the pastoral weight it deserves.
01
Data serves the pastor — not the other way around.
The goal of an engagement is never a beautiful chart. It is a pastor who understands their congregation more clearly than they did the week before. Every method, instrument, and report is judged by that standard.
02
Numbers are indicators, not verdicts.
A low score in Discipleship is not a failure grade. It is an invitation to ask a better question. My job in the consulting seat is to keep the data pointed at questions, not conclusions.
03
Rigor stays behind the curtain.
Segmentation, weighting, response-quality checks, and statistical caveats are my problem. What reaches your leadership meeting is the plain-language finding, the pastoral implication, and a small number of things worth trying.
04
Insight has to survive the room.
The most important moment in any engagement is the working session where the report meets your leadership team. I plan and facilitate those conversations — because a finding no one acts on isn't really a finding.
05
Learning is a rhythm, not a project.
Congregations change. So does the field they're planted in. The most useful work compounds — same instrument, same care, revisited on a cadence that lets you see how the soil is actually shifting.
Who Disciplytics serves
Churches and leaders who take their fields seriously.
Local churches
Established congregations wanting a clear read on their own health — especially those with pastors who lead by listening and are looking for a better way to hear their whole body.
Churches in transition
Congregations navigating a pastoral transition, a building change, a season of growth, or a season of loss. Disciplytics helps you enter that season with clear eyes.
Church networks & denominations
Regional bodies wanting comparable, respectful measurement across multiple congregations — with individual church context preserved, not flattened into a leaderboard.
Seminaries & training programs
Institutions forming pastors who will one day need to know their fields. Disciplytics can partner on curriculum, tooling, and cohort research.
A guiding conviction
“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.”
Disciplytics is built on the assumption that growth belongs to God, and that faithful ministry means paying careful attention to the field He has given you to steward. Data is one of the tools that helps a pastor pay attention. It is never the point.

Let's talk
If your church has questions worth measuring, I'd love to hear them.
